SPECTRALINK-NETLINK WIRELESS VOICE SOLUTION

SpectraLink’s NetLink system offers today’s businesses an easy to deploy, manage & support integrated wireless voice solution.  The NetLink system integrates to most existing PBX phone systems and uses 802.11b access points to connect mobile phone users.  The NetLink solution also allows mobile phone users access to the complete PBX feature set including call waiting, call forwarding, conferencing and other useful features included in most wired phone systems.

The NetLink solution includes a Telephony Gateway that is connected to the analog or digital station port within the facility’s telephone switch.  When a call destined for a NetLink Wireless Phone is received, the Gateway converts the PBX call to IP packets and transmits them over the customer’s 802.11b wireless LAN.  The telephone then receives the voice packets and assembles the conversation while maintaining excellent voice quality.  Voice quality is the primary function of the SpectraLink SVP Voice Priority Server (SVP) and ensures the voice packets have priority over the data packets on the wireless network. 

NetLink is the wireless LAN convergence system for Legacy PBX Systems and VoIP networks.  The systems are highly flexible and scalable to provide wireless VoIP in nearly any customer environment.
