In late June of 2005 Colubris announced a Proxim Rebate Program available through WAV Distribution. This program is intended to protect end users that have invested in Proxim infrastructure. The program has two-levels:

Trade in/Trade up Program: With the purchase of Colubris MSC-3300, MSC-3200, MAP-330 or MAP-320 devices, resellers can trade in an equivalent amount of Proxim access points for a rebate. Eligible Proxim access points include AP2000, AP4000, AP600 and AP700. Rebates are contingent on the reseller sending the Proxim units to WAV Distribution within 30 days of receiving the Colubris products.

Manage and Grow Program: Resellers also have an opportunity to obtain rebates on Colubris' CNMS software (Colubris Network Management System), which is interoperable and can manage their end users' existing Proxim infrastructure as they grow and replace that infrastructure with Colubris hardware. Resellers will receive an instant rebate for the software (which they can pass on to their end users) and will also receive a rebate on the abovementioned access points. Note-under the manage and grow program, resellers MUST purchase the CNMS software first, prior to receiving any rebates on the access points and controllers.
