WAV® Knowledge Network Web Access
WAV® will provide the same level of support for all on-line submissions and telephone calls. Our capable first level support is dedicated to answering your calls and on-line submissions during normal coverage hours. A second level team is also available to support the first level team with difficult inquiries. Hours of coverage are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, excluding WAV® recognized holidays.
The Knowledge Network will answer technical questions related to the hardware products WAV® provides. This includes questions regarding RF networks and clients. Customer provided equipment in which radios are installed is limited to the support of the radios themselves. Customer provided equipment includes desktop computers, or any other device not supplied or supported by WAV®. Configuration support for specific Operating Systems is on a best effort basis and is limited to installation of the client radio.
WAV® Knowledge Network Web Access is a powerful tool that utilizes the Internet to provide you with answers to your technical questions. Web Access subscribers need to provide an e-mail address, and then receive a user ID and password that will allow them access to the technical portion of the Knowledge Network on WAV’s website, www.wavonline.com. There are two methods of finding your answers with Web Access, the knowledgebase and on-line submissions.
The knowledgebase is a searchable store of information. Each entry in the knowledgebase describes a problem and the solution to that problem, and is referred to as a ‘page’. The knowledgebase is divided into several ‘books’ containing ‘pages’ specific to a particular vendor. While you can search multiple books at a time, this organization gives you the ability to tailor your searches to find the information you need quickly. The knowledgebase will also be an ever growing and developing resource, adding ‘pages’ as new products and issues present themselves.
As a Web Access subscriber, you will also have the ability to submit and review questions from the Internet. Creating a new call will route your question directly to the help desk. The help desk will respond to the calls received in this manner via e-mail. Open calls can be viewed on the Internet as well. New events related to an open call can be added from the Internet to keep your support representative abreast of any changes. Open calls generated by a phone call to the support team will also be available for viewing and updating on the Internet. Only calls opened by you are viewable by you with your password.
Phone Support Call Packs
