The Alpha Wireless AW3802 stands out as an eight-port panel antenna specially designed for six-sector site applications, catering to the U-NII 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 (5700 – 6875 MHz) radio bands. With two four-port sectors housed within each AW3802-T2-H-6G unit, boasting a 60° azimuth separation, a trio of these panels positioned at 120° azimuth separation delivers comprehensive 360° azimuth coverage, effectively aligning sectors at 60° intervals.
By combining two form factors, this antenna configuration significantly reduces the antenna count on the tower, translating to tangible savings in tower rental costs. Equipped with radio mounting and a protective cover for two 4-port radios and a GPS antenna, each sector features both vertical and horizontal polarization, offering compatibility with 4x4 multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO) for optimal throughput. The antenna's meticulous optimization supports three channel frequency reuse when integrated with three AW3802 (Six x 60° sectors) panels on a single tower. With a compact form factor, measuring 25 inches in height and 13 inches in width, the AW3802 ensures minimal tower space occupancy. Its robust and adjustable mounting brackets facilitate seamless downtilt adjustment, ranging from 0° to 10°, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
