The McCown 800-Max DCSS-SS is an outdoor-rated DC surge suppressor designed to protect DC-powered equipment from lightning-induced surges and electrical transients. It features separate protection for both input and output lines, multi-stage surge suppression with Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) technology, and a weather-resistant enclosure for reliable outdoor installations. This model is intended for higher-current applications up to 15 Amps. The publicly available 800-DCSS-SS supports up to 7 A; the Max version is the higher-current variant.
