Mimosa C5x 4.9-6.4GHz Client Radio

The Mimosa C5x is a highly versatile radio with modular twist-on antennas. It operates from 4.9-6.4 GHz with excellent noise immunity. The C5x is a flexible and cost-efficient choice for 5 GHz deployments, ideal for both point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) solutions.

The C5x radio offers native 8 dBi gain, which can be enhanced to 12, 16, 20, or 25 dBi using Mimosa's modular N5-X twist-on antennas. This integrated radio provides ease and simplicity along with enhanced flexibility.

The C5x supports both PTP and PTMP modes and can be upgraded with feature keys. Initially, it functions as a PTMP client with 100 Mbps Ethernet link speeds. By purchasing a single feature key, client speeds can be increased to 500 Mbps. In PTP mode, each radio requires a feature key to unlock point-to-point speeds of up to 700 Mbps.

The C5x is encased in metal and utilizes custom-designed horn and Cassegrain antennas, which effectively reduce localized noise and provide immunity from interference. It offers breakthrough front-to-back and front-to-side performance. The N5-X family of antennas is optimized to isolate noise with remarkable sidelobe rejection.

The C5x allows you to utilize both 4.9 GHz public safety applications and licensed frequencies up to 6.4 GHz (where permitted by local regulations) to avoid noise interference. The N5-X modular antennas are custom-designed and optimized for the C5x's extended frequency support.

The C5x is designed with a die-cast aluminum metal enclosure, dual-pole mounts, and industrial-grade twist-on antenna options. It is optimized to minimize noise, withstand outdoor elements, and remain securely mounted even in extreme weather conditions.
