The TP-Link TL-SM321A-2 and TL-SM321B-2 are designed to work together to provide on-site gigabit fiber communication over distances of up to 2km (2,000m). Using a single-mode fiber, these modules establish a full-duplex gigabit connection between your switches, storage devices, and servers.
The TL-SM321A-2 adheres to the Small Form Pluggable Multi-Source Agreement (SFP-MSA) and functions as a Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) Bi-Directional optical transceiver. It features an integrated LC Bi-Directional optical interface connector and supports a data link distance of up to 2km with 9/125 µm Single-Mode Fiber (SMF). Additionally, the TL-SM321A-2 includes Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), compatible with SFF-8472, which enables real-time monitoring of the transceiver’s parameters such as current, optical power levels, and operating temperature.
The TP-Link TL-SM321A-2 is ideal for short to medium distance fiber network applications, offering a reliable and high-speed gigabit fiber connection for switches, routers, servers, and other network devices.
