The Tycon Solar® TS-SC48-60P-MPPT is a high-performance MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) solar charge controller designed for efficiency and reliability. It automatically adjusts for 12V, 24V, 36V, and 48V battery systems and supports Sealed (AGM), GEL, Flooded, and Lithium batteries. Plus, with a USER setting, you can customize charging parameters to fit specific battery needs. Each unit includes a Bluetooth adapter and battery temperature probe for seamless monitoring and performance optimization.

Easy Monitoring with OLED Display

The integrated OLED display provides real-time battery charging data. To conserve power, the display automatically turns off when idle. Simply press the OK button to reactivate it for quick viewing.

Multiple Load Operating Modes

For added flexibility, the controller offers multiple load modes, adjustable via the Mobile or PC app:

• On/Off Manual Mode (default)
• PV Voltage Control Mode
• Dual-Time Control Mode
• PV & Time Control Mode

These modes allow for tailored power management, though settings cannot be adjusted from the front panel.

Smooth and Reliable Power Output

With a 30A load output and soft-start feature, the controller ensures smooth power delivery, preventing surges when powering high-capacitance loads. Load control is accessible via the front panel, Mobile App, or PC software for added convenience.

Comprehensive Protection for Long-Term Reliability

To safeguard your system, the controller includes built-in protections against:

• Short circuits
• Overcurrent
• Reverse polarity
• Over-temperature conditions

Additionally, over-discharge protection and low self-consumption extend battery lifespan, preventing unnecessary depletion. Best of all, these protections auto-recover, reducing downtime.

Built-In Lightning and Temperature Protection

Engineered for harsh conditions, the controller features TVS diode protection against lightning strikes. It operates efficiently across a wide industrial temperature range, with a thermostatically controlled cooling fan that runs only when necessary.

Secure and Flexible Connections

For a hassle-free installation, the controller uses six screw terminals supporting wire sizes up to 4AWG. While it is internally fused for safety, we recommend adding an external fuse between the controller and battery. The unit easily mounts to a flat surface with two or four screws.

Convenient Bluetooth and RS485 Connectivity

The built-in Bluetooth interface enables effortless control via the Solarmate mobile app (iOS and Android). For PC connectivity, the RS485 adapter (#TP-SC-USB-RS485) allows integration with MyGreen PC Software (adapter sold separately).

Advanced Remote Monitoring with TPDIN-Monitor-WEB3

For real-time data logging and remote load control, the TPDIN-Monitor-WEB3 V2 interfaces with the controller via the #TPDIN-CABLE-485, offering Ethernet and SNMP-based management. (Sold separately.)
